Ribby Awards are a great success!

What a great night! The 1st Ribby Awards came and went and boy was it fun! The show was hosted by Ribert & Robert's Wonderworld's own James Bondy ("Robert") and his wife and star of the upcoming show "Dance Dance Dance", Jenny Bondy. The show kicked off with a taped performance of 6 year-old Emily Bear playing a couple of her favorite songs on the piano. She then accepted the first ever awarded Ribby award. Julian Pavone was the second recipient and he brought the house down with his live drum performance of "Sweet Child of Mine" by Guns-N-Roses. There were many awards handed out that night (over 40 in all!) and kids came from around the U.S to attend. All the winners were photographed and had their submitted clip shown on 2 giant screens for everyone to see. There even was a sneak peek of the upcoming WonderWorld City online environment! Jackie and James Bondy closed out the show by singing a duet of Ribert & Robert's WonderWorld closing song "Being Friends". They were treated to a standing ovation! The overall feeling of the night was very positive and kids and parents alike felt the night was a great success. Kids were already talking about the next awards!
